Emerging Stylist

We are so excited to welcome Jaz, our emerging stylist, as the newest member of Portfolio Family. She has always had an interest in the beauty industry and loves how it allows us all to express our creativity.

With a warm and friendly manner, she loves helping her clients with their colouring and styling needs.

When she’s not in the Salon you will find her with friends enjoying the great outdoors.

Katie

Apprentice

Katie is also new to the Portfolio Family and is currently in the 1st year of her apprenticeship. She entered into the hair and beauty industry so that she could help people become more confident and feel incredible when they look in the mirror.

She’s a quiet little firecracker and is amazing at foiling and smooth blowdry hairstyles.

When she’s not in the Salon you will find her crocheting and listening to country music.

Freya

Emerging Stylist

Freya is the newest member of the Portfolio Family and is currently in the 2nd year of her apprenticeship. Since the 7th grade she has been experimenting with colour and knew it would be the perfect career opportunity for her as she got older.

Freya is extremely sweet, kind and bubbly and gives the perfect head massage at the basin.

When she’s not in the Salon you will find her either hanging out with friends and family, watching horror movies with her cat or cooking for her housemates.

Danielle

Specialty Cutter

Danielle is our Specialty Cutter here at Portfolio Hair and comes with over 14 years experience in the hair and beauty industry.

She is obsessed with the latest trends in fashion and beauty and is the master of short/pixie cuts and mens styling.

When she’s not in the Salon you will find her either shopping or walking on the beach, often with her camera in hand.

Kieran

Senior Stylist

Kieran is our Senior Stylist at Portfolio Hair and is a master of Balayage’s and achieving the perfect blonde.

With personality for days, he is always down for some good banter and loves sharing stories with our guests.

When he’s not in the Salon you will often find him at the gym working out or at a local bar ordering some cocktails.

Holly

Junior Stylist

My key strengths are a smooth blowdry and creating gorgeous curls.

I’m in my first year of my apprenticeship at Portfolio Hair and enjoying learning so much, with all the training provided.

I love spending my spare time shopping with my friends and going out for dinner with my family.

Lily

Senior Stylist

My key strengths in hairdressing I feel would be giving the most relaxing head massages as well as giving a smooth blowdry.

I have been hairdressing since November 2020, starting my first year as an apprentice at Portfolio Hair and although it is a short time, I have already gained so much great experience and can’t wait for what my future holds in this industry.

My fav show on Netflix is Prison Break and in my spare time I like to hang out with family and friends.

Rebekah

Senior Stylist

I’ve been in the industry for over 25 years and am highly skilled in all aspects of hair. I am dedicated to continue to be educated on current trends and to introduce these to our guests.

I love to give a full experience when guests are in the chair in front of me.

When I’m not at the salon I enjoy travelling, surfing, sailing and in my downtime, love a good Netflix series.

Sophie

Senior Stylist

Sophie has been hairdressing for 7 1/2 years, and her hair has been varying shades of purple for 5 of those years.

She never knew she wanted to be a hairdresser until she was in a salon trialling for an apprenticeship. She has been with Portfolio Hair since February 2020.

Her key strengths are a mixture of blondes, leaning towards balayage, where she can create light and depth, texture and contrast. It is a style of colour that is very personal and contemporary.

When she’s not in the Salon, she enjoys sketching with pencil and mixed media, and playing Nintendo switch games.

Katie

Junior Stylist

Katie is Portfolio Hair’s newest member! She is a first year apprentice and started at Portfolio Hair in September 2020.

Her hairdressing strength is giving a soothing head massage that you could fall asleep to.

She is obsessed with Greys Anatomy and spend most of her time either at the pub, playing Sims, watching Netflix or hanging out with her Kelpie!

Elissa

Executive Stylist & Master Colourist

Elissa is a hair nerd, wife, mum and friend. She started in the industry around 16 years ago and has been at Portfolio Hair for six years!

She loves to connecting with our guests and doing amazing hair. Her strengths are in colouring and she completed the Wella Master Colour Program last year which has allowed her an extensive knowledge on all things colour! Colour is her passion and providing a long lasting stylist/client relationship.

Spare time?? Good joke!! Between work life and mumlife it leaves her little time for much else, but racing home to be around her family and friends.

Yuka

Senior Stylist

Yuka grew up Japan and came to Australia 4 ½ year ago. She loves her job and has been working at Portfolio Hair for 1 ½ years now although she has been a hair stylist for over 10 years.

Her strengths are in both men and womens cutting and she loves creating balayages.

When she’s not in the salon, she loves to find a nice café or restaurant and watch Netflix and YouTube.

Claudia

Senior Stylist

Claudia has been in the hair & beauty industry for nearly 13 years and has worked with Portfolio Hair for 4 years now.

She love all aspects of hair but truly excels in upstyling and colouring.

When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and loves going to the beach.

Reyna

Senior Stylist

Reyna started hairdressing at the age of 18 with Portfolio Hair and was fortunate enough to be mentored by founder Gino Fossano for 14 years.

Styling and Hair Extensions are her key strengths, although she does enjoy being able to perform all services on our guests, so she can see the beginning to end process.

Nicole

Senior Stylist

Nicole’s key strengths are balayage and styling and loves creating a lived in colour that is timeless and low maintenance.

She is originally from Canada and has a degree in accounting. She has been hairdressing for 6 years and has been with Portfolio Hair ever since.

She enjoys being active and going for nice dinners with family and friends.

Bianca

Salon Coordinator

Bianca has been with Portfolio Hair since the beginning of her apprenticeship in 2009.

Here she continued to grow as a hairdresser until she moved into the role as Salon Coordinator. She loves that she can still be part of this industry and help the Portfolio stylists look after all of our loyal guests needs.

Her current favourite Netflix’s TV Show is The Sinner and when she’s not working, she enjoys going to the beach, travelling and catching up with friends over coffee.

Olivia

Senior Stylist

Working at Portfolio Hair for the past two years has been an amazing experience that has allowed Olivia the drive to achieve optimal results in her career. Being her 6th year of hairdressing, she noticed a significant amount of growth in her work.

Balayage and foiling would be some of her greatest strengths in the salon as she love getting creative with colour and specialising in blondes!

Outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends, family and also staying active. Her current favourite Netflix series is Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Jemma

Senior Stylist

Jemma has been working in the hairdressing industry for the past 15 years since taking on an apprenticeship just to “give it a try”. It very quickly turned into the best move she ever made. She has travelled the world working in the hair industry across Europe and on a Cruise Liner.

She has a passion for all hair colouring from a simplistic colour gloss to bold beautiful blondes. She has been a hair colouring educator for Wella and L’Oreal and has many hot tips to get the best results and maintain hair quality at home.

Her current favourite Netflix’s TV Show is Rupauls Drag Race as she loves the outlandish creativity and big hair!

Stefano

Senior Stylist

Stefano has been hairdressing for over 13 years and has worked with Portfolio Hair for over 5 years.

His current favourite Netflix’s TV Show is House Of Cards and when he’s not working he loves to go out on his motorcycle and explore new places.

Leanne

Managing Director

After the passing of founder Gino Fossano, Leanne continues to carry on her husband’s legacy at Portfolio Hair, Mona Vale.

Leanne is enjoying growing with her team and continues to give the ultimate service to our loyal guests at Portfolio Hair.
